“Values, Ideas and Stories from Youth ON stage – VISYON” is a 24-month long Erasmus+ KA3 European Youth Together project that aims to encourage youth’s social and civic engagement and ensure that young people have the necessary resources to participate fully in society.
We, Motus Europa as a proud partner in the Erasmus+ KA3* Project VISYON, we are thrilled to share our collective accomplishments during the Erasmus+ Days, held from October 9 to 14, 2023. This series of dynamic events unfolded across multiple countries including Greece, Spain, Malta, Romania, Slovakia, Italy, and Bulgaria, each emphasizing the Erasmus+ program’s crucial role in fulfilling European Youth Goals. Partners from each nation delivered a range of impactful activities to highlight and promote the project.
The Italian team led a captivating online campaign on Instagram with a series of nine posts throughout the Erasmus+ Day week, centered on Youth Goal #9 (Space and Participation for All). This initiative sought to engage the community and encourage reflections on participation.
In Greece, EKO hosted an Erasmus+ Open Fair on October 11, 2023, attracting over 50 participants. The fair featured several organizations committed to empowering youth through non-formal education, where the EKO Team detailed VISYON’s goals, activities, and outcomes, thereby enhancing collaboration and underscoring our shared efforts towards positive change.
Meanwhile, the Foundation for Entrepreneurship, Culture, and Education (FECE) in Bulgaria held an enlightening event at the University of Architecture, Engineering, and Geodesy in Sofia on October 10. The event featured informational stands, quizzes, and interactive activities, drawing in over 50 students to closer acquaint them with the Erasmus+ initiatives and the VISYON project.
Romania marked the celebration with two notable events. On October 10, Ovidiu led 20 students from the “Elie Radu” Energetic Technological High School in discovering the Erasmus+ opportunities. Following this, on October 13, the Monomyths Association introduced the Erasmus+ Programme and the VISYON project to 25 young people in Calarasi, sparking great enthusiasm and a keen interest to engage more closely with the project.
Additionally, the Maltese team organized an innovative open mic event, turning participants into young broadcasters who discussed EU Youth Goals, with a special focus on Quality Employment For All. This event, coordinated by VisMedNet in Malta, was streamed live on Facebook and is now accessible on the VISYON YouTube Channel.
In Slovakia, the team celebrated Erasmus+ Days on October 27 by hosting events at two schools in Nitra. These sessions introduced the EU’s array of opportunities to the youth, igniting their interest in the Erasmus+ program and the VISYON project, and encouraging local youth to stay engaged with the project’s activities.
